Born and brought up in Pakistan, i have spent half my life traveling from one city to another and the other half in the cultural capital of Pakistan, Lahore. Part artist, part wandering soul, part philosopher seeking liberation, inspiration and evolution is how i would describe myself best.
My motto in life is to experience, to feel and to perceive. Life in the last ten years has been a roller coaster ride - sometimes exciting, sometimes stagnant and annoying but always meaningful. I have gone from being a fine art student and studying interior design to media studies and currently am pursuing an MA in Design for Film, Television and Events. Sounds crazy, right? But there is a sequence to this madness. My academic career varies but focuses on my three prime interests; art, media and spaces. I have a Professional Diploma in Interior Architecture, a Bachelors degree in Journalism and Political Science and a Masters in Media Communication. After having worked in the field of Advertising and Event Design and Management for a couple of years, i am in Nottingham with the an aim to further develop my practice by putting it all together - the aesthetics, the theory, the political and philosophical inclinations.

My interests are all interlinked; from my passion for the arts, fascination with the media, traveling and the written word to my love for spaces and their consequent effects and contributions towards changing trends in all spheres of human life.
With these ambitions i hope to be part of what i feel is a new era in design where designers have to evolve from there traditional roles by being more concerned with creating design processes like events and installations rather than "designed products". To view themselves as social actors and strategic planners and hence generate not only enabling solutions but also set social and intellectual trends for audiences at large.
